Do you need to modify or cancel a current reservation?

If you need assistance, contact us directly at 1-212-947-2500 or tollfree at 833-549-2969. Please note reservations cannot be cancelled or modified via our website's contact form.

If your reservation was made on the Hotel Metro website, please contact Kixby directly for any changes or cancellations.

Reservations made through a travel agent or third-party website must be cancelled or modified via the method of booking.

Nonrefundable reservations, regardless of the method of booking, cannot be modified in anyway including name or date changes.

Earlier check-in or later check-out is based on availability and may be subject to fees. We will gladly store your luggage on the day of your arrival and departure; overnight storage is not available.

Minimum age requirement?

Minimum age for check-in is 21 years.

What are the hotel's room occupancy and child policies?

All room occupants must be registered.

There is an extra person charge for all occupants, regardless of age, above two people per room.

Children, regardless of age, count in the total permitted occupancy of a room. Two adults and one child can be accommodated in a Lux Queen Queen, Metro Double Double or in a Metro Family Room. Two adults and two children can be accommodated in a Metro Family Room only. Parties larger than four people require additional rooms.

Roll-away beds and cribs are not available.

What are the hotel's reservation policies?

If you amend your reservation, rates and availability will be subject to change. Nonrefundable reservations, please refer to the separate nonrefundable reservations policies.

Rates are quoted per room, per night, in USD, and are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed. Certain blackout dates, day of arrival and length of stay restrictions may apply and may vary by arrival date. Rates do not include taxes. Current nightly tax rates are: 14.75% + $3.50. An additional tax of $2.00 applies to the Family Room types. Tax rates are subject to change.

The credit card given as guarantee must be valid both at the time of booking and the dates of stay. Any penalties incurred due to late cancellation or no-show will be charged to the card. The hotel reserves the right to hold credit for one night's room and tax against the guarantee card up to 5 days prior to the cancellation deadline.

If booking more than 4 rooms for the same travel dates, you must reserve through Kixby’s Sales Office. These reservations may have group deposit and/or cancellation policies that vary from those that apply to individual bookings. Please contact us at

Nonrefundable Reservation Policies

Nonrefundable reservations will be charged the full amount of room and taxes within 24 hours of confirmation. If we are unable to obtain the payment authorization against the credit card provided at the time of booking, the booking will be cancelled immediately.

The credit card holder and lead guest name must match. This credit card must be present upon arrival for verification.

Nonrefundable reservations are not permitted to be amended in any way, i.e. changes to guest name(s), dates, or room type.

Guests must also present a credit card at check in for the standard $250 room deposit. See below section on payment and room deposit information.

Payment and Room Deposit Information

A valid credit card and matching government-issued photo ID must be presented at check-in. Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the total room, taxes and $250.00 room deposit. We do not recommend use of debit or check cards. Pre-loaded cash cards and Electronic cards are not accepted.

The hotel releases the amount of the deposit that has not been used by incidental charges on the day of departure, however, the release from your bank will depend on their policies and often they extend the hold for 10 or more business days.

Acceptable forms of payment: American Express, Visa, Discover, Diners Club, MasterCard, JTB, Travelers Check and Cash. Travelers Check and Cash payments ONLY accepted upon departure.

Using a debit card? Please note: When you use your debit card at check-in, you are authorizing a hold to be placed on your bank account for the dollar amount of your entire stay plus $250.00. These funds will be held by your financial institution and unavailable to draw on. The hotel cannot cause your bank to expedite the release of their hold on your funds and cannot be responsible for any overdraft charges resulting from the hold placed by use of the debit card.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be received by 4:00pm ET two days prior to the date of arrival otherwise a charge equal to one night plus applicable taxes will be assessed. This policy does not apply to nonrefundable reservations, special promotions, certain contracted inventory, and group bookings.

All requests are subject to availability upon check in, cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

Package storage and Handling Charges

Kixby will make every effort to assure you get your package but will not be responsible if recipient fails to collect their item(s) in a timely manner. Packages will not be accepted more than 10 days prior to your arrival and must include the full name of the guest exactly as on the reservation. Over-sized packages* or equipment is accepted only by special arrangement made directly with the hotel and additional fees will apply. Contact if you need additional mailing information. CHARGES: There is no charge for letter-sized envelopes (8" x 11"). Packages: 1 to 5 lbs - $3.00 per day; 5 to 10 lbs - $5.00 per day. All Packages over 10 lbs will be $10.00 per day. *Any item exceeding 20 inches on any one side is considered over-sized.

Kixby is a non-smoking property.

We are a non-smoking property and we strictly prohibit smoking in guest rooms, on our terrace and all public spaces. There is a smoking penalty fee of $250 per incident. If a guest incurs more than one incident of smoking in the room, they may be asked to check out earlier than the departure date.

Where is the closest parking available?

Parking is available nearby. The current discounted rate that Meyers Parking garage offers our guests is $38.00 plus taxes for 24 hours for a standard-sized vehicle, no in/out privileges. Meyers Parking has two entrances for your convenience: 9 West 35th Street and 12 West 36th Street.

Pet Policy

Pets are not permitted.

Luggage Storage

We are happy to provide luggage storage prior to check-in on your arrival date and on your day of departure. We are not able to provide overnight storage.
